The Sightmark Strikon FMP 1x18 is a true 1x prismatic sight built around an internal glass prism and an etched RTR-1 reticle, rather than a standard red dot's LED-only reticle.

Because the reticle is physically etched into the glass, the sight remains usable even with a dead or removed battery, and it delivers a crisp, parallax-free sight picture with fully multi-coated lenses rated at 85% light transmission.

It uses the Aimpoint® Micro mounting interface and ships with four riser/screw sets (1.15", 1.54", 1.93" and 2.32" mounting heights), letting it be fitted at multiple co-witness heights directly on a Picatinny or Weaver rail.

Illumination is provided by a 12-level red/green LED system (9 daytime and 3 night-vision-compatible settings) with automatic brightness adjustment and a 10-minute Shake Awake auto-shutoff to conserve the CR2032 battery.

The housing is machined from 6061 aluminum, IP67 waterproof, nitrogen-filled and fogproof, and shock-tested to 1000G per MIL-STD-810H.
