Red dot mounts for Walther models

This collection contains red dot mounts for Walther pistols without an optic cut. The mount replaces the rear sight, with no permanent modifications.

Which mount fits which Walther

• PPQ and PPQ M2 (9x19), P99, Creed, PPX and PPS M2: one mount family. EGW makes it for the Trijicon RMR and as type S. Outer Impact type C fits the PPQ, P99, Creed and PPS. See Red dot mounts for Walther PPQ and Red dot mounts for Walther P99.
• PPQ 22 LR and PPQ M2 22 LR: separate EGW mounts for the rimfire versions. See Red dot mounts for Walther PPQ 22 LR.
• Q5 Match SF: Toni System type A and B. They do not fit the Optics Ready variants. See Red dot mounts for Walther Q5 Match SF.

EGW type S fits Shield RMSc, Leupold DPP and Holosun K-series. Outer Impact type C fits Trijicon RMR, C-More RTS and Docter.

Installation

Drift the rear sight out of the dovetail with a sight pusher or a punch. Push the mount into the same dovetail and fix it. Then screw the red dot onto the mount. No slide milling or permanent modifications are needed. See Installation tools.

Frequently asked questions

Can I put a red dot on my Walther without an optic cut?

Yes. The mount goes into the rear sight dovetail in place of the rear sight. No milling and no permanent changes, so you can put the rear sight back at any time.

Can I install the mount at home?

Yes, if you have a sight pusher or a punch.

1. Drift the rear sight out of the dovetail.
2. Push the mount into the dovetail and tighten it.
3. Screw the red dot onto the mount with a drop of threadlocker on each screw.

Which red dots will fit?

It depends on the mount you choose. Every mount takes one footprint or a group of footprints. For Walther we have mounts for the Trijicon RMR, Shield RMSc, Holosun K-series, Leupold DPP, Docter and C-More RTS footprints.

Find the footprint of your red dot in its specifications and take the mount that names it.

Does the PPQ mount fit my PPQ 22 LR?

No. The 22 LR versions have their own mounts.
