Red dot mounts for HS Produkt models

This collection contains red dot mounts for HS Produkt pistols without an optic cut. HS Produkt makes the pistols that Springfield sells as XD, XDM and XDS. The same mounts fit both brands. The mount replaces the rear sight. It does not fit the Optics Ready (OSP) variants.

Which mount fits which model

• XDM, HS-9 and XDS: one mount family. It also fits the Springfield XD, XDM and XDS. See Red dot mounts for HS Produkt XDM and Red dot mounts for HS Produkt HS-9.
• SF19 5.25" and XDM 5.25": the long-slide models have their own mounts, Toni System type A and B. They also fit the Springfield XDM 5.25". See Red dot mounts for HS Produkt SF19 5.25.

Footprints

• Single footprints: Trijicon RMR, Shield RMSc and Docter.
• Toni System type A: Shield RMSc, Leupold DPP and Docter.
• Toni System type B: Trijicon RMR and C-More RTS.
• Outer Impact type C: Trijicon RMR, C-More RTS and Docter.
• EGW type S: Shield RMSc, Leupold DPP and Holosun K-series.

Zendl in the Czech Republic makes a steel mount. The other mounts are aluminium.

Which red dot for which footprint

Which red dots go on which footprint, with examples from our range:

• SF19 5.25" and XDM 5.25": Toni System type A and type B only.

Installation

Drift the rear sight out of the dovetail with a sight pusher or a punch. Push the mount into the same dovetail and fix it. Then screw the red dot onto the mount. No slide milling or permanent modifications are needed. See Installation tools.

Frequently asked questions

Can I put a red dot on my HS Produkt without an optic cut?

Yes. The mount goes into the rear sight dovetail in place of the rear sight. No milling and no permanent changes, so you can put the rear sight back at any time.

Can I install the mount at home?

Yes, if you have a sight pusher or a punch.

1. Drift the rear sight out of the dovetail.
2. Push the mount into the dovetail and tighten it.
3. Screw the red dot onto the mount with a drop of threadlocker on each screw.

Which red dots will fit?

It depends on the mount you choose. Every mount takes one footprint or a group of footprints. For HS Produkt we have mounts for the Trijicon RMR, Shield RMSc, Holosun K-series, Leupold DPP, Docter and C-More RTS footprints.

Find the footprint of your red dot in its specifications and take the mount that names it.

Does the XDM mount fit my XDM 5.25"?

No. The 5.25" models have their own mounts.

My SF19 RDR is Optics Ready. Will these mounts fit?

No. A pistol with a factory optic cut takes an optic plate, not a mount. See Optics ready plates for HS Produkt models.
