Optics ready plates for Springfield models

This collection contains optic plates for Springfield pistols with a factory optic cut. Springfield calls this cut OSP (Optical Sight Pistol). Plates are available for the XD OSP, XDM OSP, XDM Elite OSP, Hellcat OSP, Echelon and 1911 DS Prodigy. Several Springfield pistols are made by HS Produkt, so many plates also fit the HS Produkt versions.

Which plate fits which model

• XD OSP, XDM OSP and XDM Elite OSP: Toni System type A fits Shield RMSc, Leupold DPP and Docter. Type B fits Trijicon RMR and C-More RTS. They also fit the HS Produkt SF19 RDR and XDM OSP. See Optics ready plates for Springfield XDM OSP.

1911 DS Prodigy plates with rear sight

For the 1911 DS Prodigy, Impact Machine makes steel plates with an integrated rear sight. They exist for the Trijicon RMR, Holosun K-series, Holosun 509T, Leupold DPP and Aimpoint Acro footprints. The rear sight lets you co-witness through the red dot. A plate without rear sight is available for the Trijicon RMR.

Which red dots go on which footprint, with examples from our range:

On some plates for the XD OSP family, you must remove the rear sight for the plate to fit.

Installation

Remove the factory cover plate from the optic cut. Screw the optic plate into its place, then screw the red dot onto the plate. No milling is needed and you can do it yourself. Threadlocker on the screws is recommended.

Can I install an optic plate on my Springfield at home?

Yes. You need no gunsmith and no milling.

1. Remove the cover plate from the optic cut.
2. Screw the optic plate into the cut.
3. Screw the red dot onto the plate.

Put a drop of threadlocker on every screw.

Which red dots will fit my Springfield?

It depends on the plate you choose. Every plate takes one footprint or a group of footprints. For Springfield pistols we have plates for the Trijicon RMR, Shield RMSc, Holosun K-series, Leupold DPP, Docter, C-More RTS, Aimpoint Acro and Holosun 509T footprints.

Choose your red dot first and find its footprint in the specifications. Then take the plate with the same footprint.

Do HS Produkt plates fit my Springfield?

Yes, where the plate names both brands, for example the Hellcat OSP and H11 OR plates or the XD OSP and SF19 RDR plates.

Can I keep iron sights on my 1911 DS Prodigy with a red dot?
