Red dots with Leupold DPP footprint

This collection contains red dot sights with the Leupold DeltaPoint Pro (DPP) footprint. Plates and mounts for the DPP footprint take them. Many multi-footprint mounts include DPP, for example Toni System type A and type S.

Red dots in this collection

• Holosun SCS 320: fits the Sig P320 optic cut directly. It has a 2 MOA dot with a 32 MOA circle, green reticle and solar charging.
• Osight SE DPP: an enclosed red dot with a 2 MOA dot and 32 MOA circle.
• Vortex Defender ST and Defender XL: with switchable dot sizes of 2, 5 or 8 MOA, or 3 or 6 MOA.

Mounting the red dot

On an Optics Ready pistol, you need an optic plate that takes this footprint. See Optics ready plates. On a pistol without optic cut, you need a red dot mount that takes this footprint. See Red dot mounts.

Frequently asked questions

Can I put a Leupold DPP red dot on my pistol?

Yes, if there is a plate or mount with the Leupold DPP footprint for your model. Pistols with a factory optic cut take an optic plate. Pistols without one take a red dot mount in place of the rear sight. See Optics ready plates and Red dot mounts.

Can I install the red dot myself?

Yes. Screw the red dot onto the plate or mount with the screws that come with it. Put a drop of threadlocker on each screw and tighten it to the torque given by the maker.

Does the Holosun SCS 320 need a plate?

Not on the Sig P320 Optics Ready. It goes straight into the optic cut.
