Red dot mounts for HK models

This collection contains red dot mounts for HK pistols without a factory optic cut. The mount replaces the rear sight in its dovetail. You need no slide milling and no permanent modifications.

Which mount fits which HK

Which red dots go on which footprint, with examples from our range:

HK Mark 23

The Toni System type L mount for the Mark 23 takes five footprints: Trijicon RMR, Shield RMSc, C-More RTS, Leupold DPP and Docter. It is the widest choice of footprints on one mount in this collection.

EGW and Outer Impact in the USA and Toni System in Italy make aluminium mounts. Shield Sights makes polymer and brass mounts.

Installation

Drift the rear sight out of the dovetail with a sight pusher or a punch. Push the mount into the same dovetail and fix it. Then screw the red dot onto the mount. No slide milling or permanent modifications are needed. See Installation tools.

Frequently asked questions

Can I put a red dot on my HK without an optic cut?

Yes. The mount goes into the rear sight dovetail in place of the rear sight. No milling and no permanent changes, so you can put the rear sight back at any time.

Can I install the mount at home?

Yes, if you have a sight pusher or a punch.

1. Drift the rear sight out of the dovetail.
2. Push the mount into the dovetail and tighten it.
3. Screw the red dot onto the mount with a drop of threadlocker on each screw.

Which red dots will fit?

It depends on the mount you choose. Every mount takes one footprint or a group of footprints. For HK we have mounts for the Trijicon RMR, Shield RMSc, Holosun K-series, Leupold DPP, Docter and C-More RTS footprints.

Find the footprint of your red dot in its specifications and take the mount that names it.

Does the VP9 mount fit my P30?

Yes. One mount family fits the VP9, SFP9, VP40, P30 and HK45.

Does the USP mount fit my USP Compact?

No. The USP Compact has its own mounts.

My VP9 OR is Optics Ready. Will these mounts fit?

No. A pistol with a factory optic cut takes an optic plate, not a mount. See Optics ready plates for HK models.
