Sights for Glock 17

This collection contains iron sights for the Glock 17. They are made by LPA in Italy, Angry Bear in the USA, Night Fision in the USA, Eemann Tech in Europe and Zendl in the Czech Republic. Sights for the Glock 17

A title with "front sight" or "rear sight" means a single part. All other sights are sets of front and rear sight.

Which sights to choose

• You shoot with iron sights only: low sights. They sit close to the slide.
• You want to zero for your ammunition or shoot competition: adjustable sights. You set windage and elevation with screws.
• You want to keep your front sight: an adjustable rear sight alone.
• You only want a brighter front sight: a single front sight.

The sights in detail

• Adjustable rear sights from LPA, in blank, white dots and white lines. You keep your front sight and set windage and elevation on the rear sight with screws.
• Adjustable sights from LPA and Zendl, in blank, fiber optic, luminescent dots, white dots and white lines. You set windage and elevation with screws, so you can zero them for your ammunition.
• Front sights from Angry Bear, Eemann Tech and LPA, in fiber optic. You change only the front sight and keep the rear sight.
• Low sights from Angry Bear, in fiber optic and tritium. They sit close to the slide and suit shooting with iron sights only.
• Other sight sets from Night Fision and Zendl, in fiber optic and tritium.

How to zero adjustable sights

Shoot a group at a fixed distance. Move the rear sight in the direction you want the point of impact to move: to the right to move hits to the right, up to move hits up. Turn the screw a few clicks at a time and shoot again.

Fit

• They do not fit MOS variants.
• Will not fit factory Glock Sight

Sight picture

Fiber optic collects daylight and shines brightly at the range and in competition. Tritium glows in the dark without charging. Blank sights have a plain grooved surface without any marks. Luminescent dots charge in light and glow for a while in the dark. White lines and white dots give contrast without glowing.

Installation

Most pistol sights sit in a dovetail. You drift the old sight out and the new one in with a sight pusher or a punch. The Glock front sight is held by a screw from the inside of the slide, so you need a front sight screwdriver. See Installation tools.

Frequently asked questions

Can I change the sights on my Glock 17 at home?

Yes, with a sight pusher or a punch. Drift the old sight out of the dovetail and push the new one in. For the front sight you need a Glock front sight screwdriver. If you do not have the tool, a gunsmith can do it for you.

Which sights should I choose for my Glock 17?

It depends on how you shoot:
