A title with "front sight" or "rear sight" means a single part. All other sights are sets of front and rear sight.

Which sights to choose

You want to zero for your ammunition or shoot competition: adjustable sights. You set windage and elevation with screws.
You only want a brighter front sight: a single front sight.

The sights in detail

Other sight sets from Angry Bear, Night Fision and Zendl, in blank, fiber optic and tritium.
Adjustable sights from LPA and Zendl, in blank, fiber optic, white dots and white lines. You set windage and elevation with screws, so you can zero them for your ammunition.
Front sights from Night Fision, in tritium. You change only the front sight and keep the rear sight.

How to zero adjustable sights

Shoot a group at a fixed distance. Move the rear sight in the direction you want the point of impact to move: to the right to move hits to the right, up to move hits up. Turn the screw a few clicks at a time and shoot again.

Sight picture

Fiber optic collects daylight and shines brightly at the range and in competition. Tritium glows in the dark without charging. Blank sights have a plain grooved surface without any marks. White dots and white lines give contrast without glowing.

Installation

Most pistol sights sit in a dovetail. You drift the old sight out and the new one in with a sight pusher or a punch. See Installation tools.

For red dot mounts, see Red dot mounts for HS Produkt XDM. For all sights of this brand, see Sights for HS Produkt models.

Frequently asked questions

Can I change the sights on my HS Produkt XDM at home?

Yes, with a sight pusher or a punch. Drift the old sight out of the dovetail and push the new one in. If you do not have the tool, a gunsmith can do it for you.

Which sights should I choose for my HS Produkt XDM?

It depends on how you shoot:

You want to zero for your ammunition or shoot competition: adjustable sights. You set windage and elevation with screws.
You only want a brighter front sight: a single front sight.

Do I get both the front and the rear sight?

Yes, unless the title says "front sight" or "rear sight". Then you get only that part.
