This collection contains 1° shims for red dots from Shield Sights. A shim goes between the mount or plate and the red dot. It corrects the point of impact when the slide angle or the mounting tolerance shifts it, so you do not have to use up the elevation of the red dot.

When do I need a shim?

When your red dot hits too low or too high even with the elevation turned almost to the end. The shim tilts the red dot by 1° and gives you the adjustment back.
