Compatibilité des empreintes expliquée

Que signifie une "empreinte" ? Le terme empreinte fait référence à une structure des prises et des trous de vis à la base de l'appareil optique.

Et que signifie si les empreintes sont compatibles ?

Chaque viseur optique a une base pour le montage. La base se compose de broches à diverses positions et de trous pour les vis utilisées pour la fixation du viseur aux supports. Si deux organes de visée utilisent la même base pour le montage, on dit qu'ils partagent la même empreinte.

Shield modèle d'empreinte RMSc

Shield l'empreinte RMSc se compose de quatre prises dans les coins du viseur et de deux trous de vis à l'arrière du viseur.

Les prises avant ainsi que les prises arrière sont espacées de 17 mm / 0,66 pouces. De l'arrière aux prises avant, la distance est de 32,8 mm / 1,29 pouces. La position de ces quatre prises correspond à la position des broches qui se trouvent sur une surface de montage pour ce standard.

Les trous de vis sont positionnés dans la partie arrière de l'appareil optique. Ils servent à la fixation du viseur aux supports. Ces deux trous de vis sont espacés de 14 mm / 0,55 pouces.

Les vis à utiliser pour ces trous de vis sont toujours incluses dans le paquet avec le viseur.

Comment monter point rouge avec l'empreinte Shield RMSc

Cela dépend de l'appareil sur lequel vous souhaitez le monter.

Allez-vous l'installer sur un support picatinny ? C'est-à-dire une arme équipée de rail Picatinny ? Alors vous devez rechercher support picatinny avec l'empreinte Shield RMSc.
Ou allez-vous le monter sur un pistolet ? Et le pistolet sera-t-il optics ready (avec une glissière de pistolet découpée pour point rouge). Alors vous devez rechercher montage pour point rouge avec l'empreinte Shield RMSc.
Ou s'agira-t-il d'un pistolet standard sans une telle découpe ? Alors vous devez rechercher plaque optique avec l'empreinte Shield RMSc.

PERFECT FIT - EASY TO INSTALL - SUPERIOR PRODUCT -Thrilled with purchase

I bought another mount (from a vendor in Quakertown, PA, USA) which was horrible, badly machined, so badly machined I had to use a file for hours to make it fit on a HK VP9. Then, I went to Optics-Spot, for my P226 Legion needs.

John, the customer rep., was on the phone with me for fifteen minutes at 2:00 AM (Eastern U.S. Time). He found this perfect mount for my Sig Sauer P226 LEGION (in .40S&W caliber). This gun is very rare and highly-collectable, so it was essential the mount fit perfectly without marring the pistol.

It fits PERFECTLY. Instead of hours of filing, just drove it into the dovetail with a hard plastic-faced hammer and it snugged-up PERFECTLY. Set screws for the dovetail fit and tightened perfectly, also.

This "Universal Mount" comes with "drop-in" lugs (keep the reflex sight from moving horizontally) which appear to be machined to 0.0001 inches, or better, so tight that there's no measurable movement but they dropped-into the recesses amazingly well.

This is a VERY, VERY IMPRESSIVE, QUALITY PRODUCT, sold by a superb company, "Optics-Spot," with extraordinary customer service.

Cudos go out to John, and Optics-Spot!
